To determine the subsidy you are entitled to, we use a household means test that considers:
- Gross income of the person who needs care, his/her spouse and all family members living in the same household; and
- Total number of family members living in the same household
Alternatively, if the household does not have an income, we consider:
- Annual value of the place of residence
This is the same means test that is used for schemes such as Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) and Senior’s Mobility
and Enabling Fund (SMF).
