LIVE VIRTUAL CONSULTATION SESSIONS 2021

The new services-based Healthcare Services Act (HCSA) will replace the current premises-based Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act (PHMCA). The Health Regulation Group (HRG) of the Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to thank you for the feedback on the Bill, and we will be conducting a series of consultation sessions for the draft General Regulations, Advertisement Regulations and Phase 1 Service Regulations under the HCSA in early 2021.

Consultations in January to March 2021: General Regulations, Advertisement Regulations and Code of Practice for Key Officeholders

Your views are important to us. The objectives of these sessions are to provide information and seek feedback on:
1. General Regulations;
2. Advertisement Regulations;
3. Code of Practice on Key Officerholders; as well as
4. Share details on the timelines and implementation details on HCSA across the three phases.

Please register for the live virtual consultation session(s) listed in the below table to share your feedback and queries. You only need to attend ONE of the sessions as they will cover the same content.The confirmation email and instructions on accessing the session will be sent to you at least 3 working days before each session.

Who should attend:
We recommend to register the attendees that fulfill the following roles (i.e. maximum of three attendees per licensee):

1. Have a management role and governance over day-to-day operations;
2. Have oversight of clinical governance; and
3. Are involved in the marketing and advertisements of healthcare services.

Please read the consultation documents before attending the session as we will only focus on the key details to allow more time for feedback and queries. As we may not be able to accommodate everyone at the live virtual consultation sessions, you can still share your feedback and queries via the FormSG feedback form.
