The past two years have also seen the rapid mainstreaming of newer, non- brick-and-mortar models of care, in part due to the opportunities that surfaced while managing the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, MOH is amending HCSA to further strengthen safeguards for patient safety and welfare, as well as enhance operational efficiency and reduce regulatory burden for licensees.
