The Community Rehabilitation Team Workgroup (CRTW) was formed under One-Rehab to develop the necessary enablers for the community sector to move towards the One-Rehab envisaged mode of care. Three focus areas were identified:
(i) Develop evidence-based clinical practice guidelines, and Community Rehab quality standards, including meaningful goal-setting practices and ways to build successful therapeutic relationships.
(ii) Define the roles, needs and opportunities for community therapists for ongoing professional development to enhance person-centred community care through structured supervision, coaching/mentoring, education and skills-sharing opportunities.
(iii) Develop community rehab and support services recommendations, including streamlining processes, service redesign and develop necessary enablers to support right-siting of care
For (ii), a professional development framework, Singapore Allied Health Workplace Learning and Support Framework, was conceived.

Workplace Learning and Support outlines five principles aim to
(i) Ensure
that workplace learning and support are universally accessible, deeply
ingrained in the organizational culture, focused on enhancing professional
skills and overall wellbeing, characterised by high quality, and continuously
improved to meet the evolving needs of allied health workers and the community
they serve
(ii) Guide individuals, employers, and the wider system in creating a dynamic and supportive learning environment that enhances the skills and wellbeing of allied health workers and contributes to safe and effective practices and better outcomes for service users.
These principles should be used
alongside professional and regulatory standards, not as a replacement, and are
relevant to everyone in healthcare, including educational settings where allied
health workers are integrated. All organisations are encouraged to follow these
principles.
