NOTICE OF PROPOSED MODIFICATIONS TO LICENCE CONDITIONS FOR LICENSEES OF A NUCLEAR MEDICINE IMAGING SERVICE IMPOSED UNDER THE HEALTHCARE SERVICES ACT 2020 (“HCSA”) The Director of Medical Services intends to modify the conditions of your licence granted under the HCSA (“Licence”) by imposing the following appended conditions for your Licence (“Licence Conditions”): (a) Licence Conditions for Nuclear Medicine Imaging Services, (Annex A);
2 These Licence Conditions will apply to all persons which have been licensed under the HCSA to provide a nuclear medicine imaging service (“NMIS”); and are intended to provide further clarity on the requirements to ensure the safe and effective provision of NMIS by licensees of a NMIS. All other conditions of your Licence that have been imposed before the date of this notification shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect, and these Licence Conditions shall be read and construed with the requirements stipulated in the HCSA and its Regulations (including but not limited to the Healthcare Services (General) Regulations 2021, Healthcare Services (Nuclear Medicine Assay Service and Nuclear Medicine Imaging Service) Regulations 2021, and the Healthcare Services (Advertisement) Regulations 2021).
3. A breach of the Licence Conditions may result in regulatory action being taken against licensees under section 20 of the HCSA, including but not limited to —
(a) suspension or revocation of the licensee’s NMIS Licence;
(b) shortening the term of the licensee’s NMIS Licence;
(c) a direction requiring the licensee to rectify the contravention, or prevent a recurrence of the contravention; and/or
(d) a direction requiring the licensee to pay a financial penalty.
4. Pursuant to Section 14(2) of the HCSA, you may submit written representations to the Director of Medical Services with respect to the proposed Licence Conditions described above within 14 days (excluding the date of this notification) of this notification at HCSA_Enquiries@moh.gov.sg.
