Premium Rebates


MediShield Life premiums are distributed more evenly over our lifetime. This means that we pay slightly higher premiums while we are working so that premiums rise less steeply when we are older.

For younger Singapore Residents who pre-pay more during their working ages, the scheme is designed so that they receive higher premium rebates.

Distributing premiums more evenly over our lifetime helps us to pay ahead for premiums. Planning and saving for our future healthcare expenses will reduce concerns over whether we have enough savings during retirement.
