List of enforcement actions taken by MOH under the PHMCA, MRA and DRA

Background 

The Ministry of Health (MOH) is committed to ensuring that the public receives safe, affordable, accessible and good quality healthcare. 

MOH monitors and acts on complaints against both unlicensed and licensed healthcare institutions and practitioners of breaches of our regulatory requirements, such as those under the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act (PHMCA) or registration under the Medical Registration Act (MRA) or Dental Registration Act (DRA). 

The healthcare institutions and practitioners against whom MOH has recently taken enforcement action are listed below. The duration a healthcare institution or practitioner remains on the list varies based on the type of offence committed. This list will be updated periodically. 


 

Enforcement action taken under the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act (PHMCA)

The list below comprises:

  1. Healthcare service providers whose PHMCA licences have been suspended or revoked, and/or on whom criminal penalties (e.g. a fine and/or an imprisonment term) have been imposed for breach of the PHMCA;
  2. Persons on whom criminal penalties (e.g. a fine and/or an imprisonment term) have been imposed for providing healthcare services without PHMCA licences.
