Life @ MOH
Live life at MOH. It isn't just our mission. It's our culture.
At MOH, well-being is part of how we work. Our people have access to resources, spaces and programmes that support their mental, physical and social well-being, along with workplace practices that help them manage different life and career stages.

Supporting mental well-being, every step of the way
We believe that a supportive workplace starts with caring for our people's well-being.
These include wellness and mindfulness programmes, counselling services and behavioural health coaching. Wellness Ambassadors across MOH also serve as mental health first-aiders, while dedicated wellness spaces give officers a place to pause and recharge.

Investing in healthier lifestyles
We encourage our officers to prioritise their physical well-being through a range of health and physical wellness initiatives. From an in-house gymnasium and subsidised annual health screenings to complimentary flu vaccinations, workplace wellness programmes and ergonomic workspaces, we make it easier for our people to stay active, build healthy habits and look after their health.

Building connections beyond work
A strong workplace is built on meaningful connections and shared experiences. From Interest Groups and fitness activities to festive celebrations and staff events, there are many ways to meet colleagues beyond your immediate team. These shared experiences help our people build connections and be part of the wider MOH community.

Supporting work and family, together
We understand that our officers wear many hats beyond the workplace. Our flexible work arrangements and leave provisions support officers in managing different personal, family and caregiving needs. Initiatives and family-oriented activities also create opportunities for officers to spend meaningful time with their loved ones, and enable the little ones to better understand what their parents do at work.

It is a date night with my son every last Friday of the school term where we enjoy a nice meal outside. My son was really happy about the extra hour of evening time on Eat with Your Family Day and asked why the day is special. Explaining to him reminds me how simple moments like this can mean a whole world to him.— Chua Xiu Xia, Deputy Director (Policy and Plans Division), Crisis Strategy and Operations Group
