Minister for Health, Mr Ong Ye Kung, will deliver a keynote speech at the Lianhe Zaobao Singapore-China Forum 2023 on 21 November 2023 in Beijing, China. He will also take part in a dialogue session on “Perspectives of Youth at the Crossroads of Eastern and Western Civilisations”.
2. The Lianhe Zaobao Singapore-China Forum serves as a platform for political, business, and academic leaders from both China and Singapore to engage in discussions about strategic social and economic development issues of mutual interest. The theme for this year’s Forum is "Challenges and Opportunities for Youths in Singapore and China" (新中青年成长的挑战与机遇).
3. During the trip, Mr Ong will meet his counterparts in Beijing. He will also visit Tsinghua University, Guang'anmen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and engage with Singaporean students and alumni in Beijing.
4. Mr Ong will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Health.
