Minister for Health and 2nd Minister for Finance, Mr Lim Hng Kiang will be attending the 7th International Conference on The Future of Asia organised by the Nihon Keizai Shimbun Inc (Nikkei) in Tokyo from 7 to 8 June 2001.
The theme of the Conference is "Beyond Globalism - Ways to Harmonize Competition and Cooperation". Some of the issues discussed at the two-day conference attended by political and economic East Asian leaders, include:
