Ministry of Health Budget Initiatives 2015


The Ministry of Health’s Committee of Supply debate took place in Parliament on ___ March 2015. Health Minister Mr Gan Kim Yong, Senior Minister of State Dr Amy Khor, Minister of State Dr Lam Pin Min and Parliamentary Secretary Dr Muhd Faishal Ibrahim spoke on a range of issues, including:

  • Building Capacity: Enhancing access to the right type of healthcare facilities and services;

  • Transforming Care: Providing better services by building a smart healthcare system, raising standards, increasing support for care providers, and developing manpower;

  • Enhancing Affordability: Strengthening healthcare financing to keep healthcare affordable; and

  • Staying Future-Ready: Working with the community to remain future ready.
