Question No. 2279
To ask the Minister for Health whether there will be any difference in fees paid to family doctors and healthcare clusters for locals and foreigners under the Healthier SG plan.
Answer
Under Healthier SG, participating General Practitioner (GP) clinics will receive an annual service fee for the time and effort taken to care for and manage each enrolled resident. This service fee will not be differentiated by nationality.
At the same time, Singapore Citizens (SCs) and Permanent Residents (PRs) will receive an onboarding consultation and annual check-ins, that are fully subsidised, with the family doctor they are enrolled with. SCs will further receive fully subsidised nationally recommended health screenings and vaccinations. Foreigners are not eligible for these subsidies.
