Minister for Health Mr Gan Kim Yong will attend the 12th ASEAN Health Ministers Meeting (AHMM) and related meetings in Hanoi, Vietnam from 17-19 September 2014.
2 The 12th AHMM will discuss key health issues, such as the future direction for regional health cooperation, regional experiences on attaining Universal Health Coverage (UHC), and multi-sectoral collaborations to combat emerging infectious diseases.

He will also share Singapore’s efforts to make quality healthcare more accessible and affordable for all citizens, and outline Singapore’s healthcare aspirations for ASEAN for 2015 and beyond.
5 Minister Gan will also participate in the ASEAN Plus Three Roundtable as well as the ASEAN-China Roundtable. He will also meet with his regional counterparts to renew ties and explore potential collaborations in the area of healthcare.
