Minister for Health, Mr Gan Kim Yong will be attending the Inaugural Meeting of the Global Health Policy Summit and related meetings from 30 July-1 August 2012 in London. The meeting will bring together 250 key decision-makers in healthcare from over 25 countries including ministers, senior government officials, academics and business leaders. They will address major health policy challenges and develop innovative ways to deliver healthcare around the world. British Prime Minister David Cameron will make a keynote address.
The Global Health Policy Summit was conceived by the Institute of Global Health Innovation at Imperial College London. It will be co-hosted by Lord Green of Hurstpierpoint, UK Minister of State for Trade and Investment, and Professor the Rt Hon Lord Darzi of Denham, Chair of the Institute of Global Health Innovation at Imperial College London and former Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department of Health.
