Health Minister to visit Macao and Hong Kong Special Administrative Regions to foster greater cooperation in Healthcare, 9 - 13 January 2006

Minister for Health Mr Khaw Boon Wan will be visiting the Macao Special Administrative Region and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region from 9 to 13 January 2006.

Minister Khaw will meet with his counterpart in Macao, Dr Chui Sai On and the Macao Chief Executive Mr Edmund Ho Hau Wah. The Macao visit will further promote our close bilateral cooperation in healthcare. In Hong Kong, Minister Khaw will meet with his health counterpart, Dr York Chow to discuss preparedness plans for an influenza pandemic.

Minister Khaw will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Health.
