MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ON HEALTHCARE COOPERATION BETWEEN SINGAPORE AND THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Singapore Ministry of Health and the Republic of Korea Ministry of Health and Welfare was signed on 25 September 2025 in New York, United States of America by Singapore Minister for Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, Mr Ong Ye Kung, and the Republic of Korea Minister of Health and Welfare, Dr Jeong Eun-kyeong. The signing took place during their bilateral meeting at the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly Fourth High-level meeting on the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases and the promotion of mental health and well-being.
2. Under the MOU, Singapore and the Republic of Korea will enhance cooperation in the health sector. This includes cooperation in enhancing health security, cutting-edge healthcare technology, research and development, aged care policy areas, and healthcare regulation.
3. The signing of the MOU reaffirms the close working relationship between Singapore and the Republic of Korea, and demonstrates the shared commitment to enhance existing cooperation and establish new areas of collaboration.
