Minister Ong Ye Kung to Attend the United Nations General Assembly High Level Meeting in New York, United States

Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, will attend the United Nations General Assembly High Level Meeting (UNGA HLM) on the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases and the promotion of mental health and well-being in New York, United States of America, on 25 September 2025. 

2.         Mr Ong will deliver Singapore’s national statement at the plenary segment of the meeting. Additionally, he will meet his counterparts at the UNGA HLM, and visit medical centres in New York on 26 September.  

3.         Mr Ong will also be making a working visit to Washington D.C. from 29 to 30 September to meet with members of the US Congress and representatives of US federal agencies.
