NATIONAL MEDICAL EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2026

Seven individuals and two teams were awarded the National Medical Excellence Awards (NMEA) this year, for excellence in the areas of care quality, patient safety, research, education, training, as well as community health. Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, presented the awards at the NMEA ceremony held on 17 September 2026.
2. The annual national award recognises the efforts of outstanding clinicians, clinician scientists and other healthcare professionals for their contributions. It acknowledges their achievements in advancing healthcare, improving the standards of patient safety, driving research and education, and developing better health in the community, which ultimately improve people's lives.
