To ask the Coordinating Minister for Social Policies and Minister for Health (a) whether there are long term studies on the physical and mental health conditions of children born via in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) in Singapore as compared to children conceived naturally and born to younger couples; and (b) if so, what are the findings.
Answer
1 The Ministry of Health is not aware of any long-term studies conducted in Singapore that specifically compare the physical and mental health outcomes of children born via in-vitro fertilisation and those conceived naturally and born to younger couples.
