PRINTED RECEIPTS REMAIN AVAILABLE IN ALL HEALTHCARE CLUSTERS

We thank Mr Chun Shian Chew for raising concerns about the challenges seniors face with the paperless receipt initiative at healthcare institutions (Can seniors have printed receipts at healthcare institutions?, Sept 22).
We would like to assure Mr Chun and other readers that printed receipts remain available to all patients, including seniors, who require them.
All three healthcare clusters currently provide printed receipts or tax invoices upon patients’ requests at their counters and selected self-service kiosks.
We encourage seniors and their caregivers to approach the relevant service counters or contact the healthcare institutions billing inquiry hotlines if they need help obtaining printed receipts.
The Ministry of Health remains committed to ensuring that access to our healthcare services is inclusive and accessible to all Singaporeans.
