Tripartite Oversight Committee (TOC) on Workplace Safety and Health

Since its inception in 2014, the Tripartite Oversight Committee (TOC) on Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) has supported employers in achieving total workplace safety and health through various holistic programmes and initiatives. The third TOC term (2021-2024) started in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, which catalysed new norms and accelerated existing trends such as digitalisation and remote work. The TOC adapted to this by pivoting our workplace safety and health initiatives to ensure that we continue to effectively serve the needs of different segments of our workforce. Driven by 3 dedicated subcommittees, the 3rd TOC strengthened engagement with workers in high-risk industries and mature workers in priority sectors, and also partnered businesses, industrial clusters and precincts to promote safety and health for all workers.
