Caregiving

Caregivers provide crucial medical and emotional support. Discover resources to ease their duties and improve the quality of life for both caregivers and those they care for.

Last updated on 10 March 2026

Due to illness, frailty or disability, our loved ones may need help in caring for themselves at home or in the community. A family member, partner, relative, friend, or even neighbours, can step in as a caregiver to support their care needs e.g. medical needs, emotional needs, day-to-day activities, and key decision-making.

Caregivers are supported with these aspects:

  • Access to valuable caregiving resources through various modes

  • Being able to take breaks through respite care services

  • Financial support to reduce financial burden from care expenses

  • Workplace support to help caregivers balance work life and their loved ones’ caregiving needs

  • Caregiver empowerment through training, and emotional support through counselling services and community networks
