MediShield Life Premium Discount Pilot

From 18 September 2025, Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents aged 40 and above will be able to exchange their Healthpoints in the Health Promotion Board’s (HPB) Healthy 365 mobile application for MediShield Life premium discounts as part of a three-year pilot programme to complement Healthier SG efforts.

Eligibility and Conversion Rate

MediShield Life policyholders aged 40 and above, including those with Integrated Shield Plans, will be able to redeem MediShield Life premium discounts at a conversion rate of 150 Healthpoints to $2. This is higher than the regular conversion rate of 150 Healthpoints to $1. 

To earn Healthpoints, individuals can participate in healthy lifestyle programmes and challenges on the Healthy 365 app (such as daily steps challenge, sleep, moderate-to-vigorous physical activity and Eat, Drink, Shop Healthy), or enrol with a Healthier SG clinic and complete the first Health Plan consultation. An individual who averages 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity weekly for a year, could earn enough Healthpoints to redeem about $70 worth of discounts off his/her MediShield Life premiums. Once redeemed, the discounts will automatically apply to the individual’s MediShield Life premiums at the next annual policy renewal.
